Beth Buyea, DHSc, PA-C is Assistant Professor and Program Director at the Tufts University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program. She has been working as a PA since graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2002. Dr. Buyea transitioned into full-time teaching in 2013. Dr. Buyea's clinical work has focused mainly on Primary Care and Adolescent Medicine. She has also done per diem work in Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine. She continues to work per diem at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Primary Care.
Taylor Fischer, MMS, PA-C is an Assistant Professor in Wingate University's Department of PA Studies. He is a veteran of the US Air Force and a graduate of Methodist University. He has been teaching at Wingate's Hendersonville, NC Campus since 2015 and continues to practice clinically in the urgent care setting.
Melodie Kolmetz, MPAS, PA-C, EMT-P is an Assistant Professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology Physician Assistant Program. She has been a PA since 1995 after graduating with the first RIT PA class. She has an extensive medical education background both as a PA educator and a New York State Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Certified Instructor Coordinator. She continues to practice as a PA in Occupational Medicine and School Health Services and as a paramedic with a local EMS organization.
Ziemowit Mazur, Ed.M, MS, PA-C is an Associate Program Director and Assistant Profession at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science's Physician Assistant Program in North Chicago, Illinois. In addition to the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree, he holds a Master of Education degree and is a doctoral candidate pursuing a PhD in Interprofessional Healthcare Studies with an emphasis on Health Professions Education. As a clinical PA, his experience and interests are in family and internal medicine, and he continues to serve as volunteer clinical faculty at an underserved primary care clinic. As recognition of his teaching excellence, he has received teaching awards from both peers and students alike, and has been nominated for national teaching awards. His contributions to the profession and academia include serving as a site visitor for the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), a peer-reviewer for the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA), and House of Delegates elected appointee to the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). He has successfuly obtained research grant founding from the Physician Assistant Education Organization (PAEA), presented at state, national, and international conferences, and has a number of peer-reviewed journal articles in acceptance in the Journal of Physician Assistant Education (JPAE).
Mary Lebatique Minto, MHS, PA-C is the Director of Didactic Education and an Assistant Professor at the University of Saint Joseph Physician Assistant Studies Program. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut, majoring in Physiology and Neurobiology and Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. She received her Masters of Health Science upon completion of the Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program. As a practicing Physician Assistant, she has worked in Neurosurgery and Trauma Surgery. She continues to practice clinically in Urgent Care while teaching Physiology, Pathophysiology, and Clinical Medicine to the graduate students in the University of Saint Joseph Physician Assistant Studies Program in Connecticut.
